Kristina Wrenn, ADA Ambassador Nashville, was there singing and sharing with the nearly 100 kids at the camp.  Kristina has dealt with type 1 diabetes almost all of her life and is passionate about helping educate and engage people in the fight against diabetes.  She and ADA have partnered with Child Hunger Day to help the many thousands of children that not only suffer from hunger but diabetes as well.  The number one way to control diabetes is with proper diet and nutrition.  Click here for more information.

Had the privilege of having lunch with Randy Shaw, Sr. Financial Director for the Nashville Rescue Mission. I also got to visit with NRM President, Glenn Cranfield.  I was able to get the full tour of their amazing facility.  Nashville Rescue Mission and all of their team are doing great things to help the homeless and hungry of Nashville.
